Restorative yoga is all about finding a sense of deep relaxation through your body and in your mind. It involves a series of gentle poses, which are each held for a number of minutes, and the use of props (think bolsters, cushions, blankets) to fully support your body and enable you to let go in each pose. It's a wonderful antidote to our typically hectic, non-stop, stressful lives, allowing you a chance to connect deeply with your body and the moment, to unwind, to restore and renew.
Slow Subtle Yoga – for Every Body with Tania
Yoga is a beautiful antidote to the stresses and anxieties of daily life as it offers us the opportunity to shift our awareness from the demands and distractions of the external environment and reconnect to the peace and tranquillity of our internal environment, that is SELF.
Slow subtle yoga allows you time and space to reconnect to the body, and quieten the mind, as your awareness begins to shift from the ‘wants’ of the ego mind, to the true essence of what the body actually ‘needs’, cultivating a healthy relationship to the body, to the SELF.
Ideal for those new to yoga, but Every Body will feel the healing benefits of taking time out to gently reconnect to the body, the breath, the SELF and experience a deeper sense of peace tranquillity and overall wellbeing.

What to expect
The class will be a full 1.5 hours to ensure that you have the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the practice, and be present. We will begin with a gentle relaxation to allow you to deepen your awareness of the body, the breath and shift gently from your busy day onto your yoga mat.
Slow subtle yoga postures (asana), with clear instructions and modifications to suit Every Body
Guided breathing (pranayama) techniques.
Guided meditation (dhyana) techniques.
Guided deep relaxation techniques at the end of class, to allow time for the body to assimilate the practice.
A deeper understanding of yoga and the practical benefits of yoga.
